Mangaluru: Orientation programme 2025 held at Srinivas University Institute of Aviation Studies

Mangaluru, Jul 10: Srinivas University Institute of Aviation Studies organised its Orientation Programme 2025 on July 7 at Hotel Srinivas, Mangaluru, welcoming the new batch of aspiring aviation students.

The programme was presided over by Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao, chancellor of Srinivas University and president of the A Shama Rao Foundation. In his presidential address, he highlighted the importance of discipline, dedication, and innovation in academic and professional life.

Dr A Srinivas Rao, pro-chancellor of Srinivas University and vice president of the A Shama Rao Foundation graced the occasion as the guest of honour. He highlighted the growing scope and global opportunities in the field of aviation and motivated students to pursue their goals with dedication.

Vijayalakshmi R Rao, a respected trustee member of the board of governors, Srinivas University, known for her inspiring presence, visionary support to educational initiatives, and her continued encouragement to students and faculty alike.

A notable moment in the programme was the administration of the oath to the students by Prof Er A Mitra S Rao, encouraging them to uphold values of integrity, responsibility, and excellence.

Dr K Satyanarayan Reddy, vice-chancellor of Srinivas University, also addressed the gathering, outlining the university’s futuristic approach to education and the importance of discipline and innovation in professional learning.

Dr Ajay Kumar, development registrar, Srinivas University, were present. Dr Pavithra Kumari, dean of the Institute of Aviation Studies, was warmly welcomed during the event. The formal proceedings concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Varshitha. The event was compered by Deekshitha and Aishwarya.
