Mangaluru, Jul 10: St Agnes PU College organized a crucial awareness session on drug abuse and cybercrime, empowering students to make informed choices and stay safe online. ACP Geetha Kulkarni addressed the session, sharing valuable insights and practical advice.
ACP Geetha Kulkarni emphasized self-love, respect for parents, and positive life choices. She encouraged students to engage in mind-refreshing activities like yoga, sports, and volunteering, which can build resilience and character.




















The session also highlighted cyber safety, with key takeaways:
- Avoid unknown links.
- Refrain from sharing personal data.
- Decline unknown video calls.
The programme concluded with a message on responsibility towards oneself, family, and nation. Students gained valuable knowledge to navigate adolescence and the digital age.
The session was witnessed by the principal Sr Norine D'Souza, Abhaya coordinator Dr Tressie Menezes, Jeevan faculty department of Hindi, staff and first-year PUC students. Serah welcomed, Himaniya rendered vote of thanks, and Shuziini compered the programme.
