Lourdes Central School launches 'Voice of LCS' digital e-magazine

Mangaluru, Jul 8: Lourdes Central School marked a proud milestone on July 7 with the launch of its first-ever digital monthly e-magazine, Voice of LCS, during the morning assembly.

The e-magazine was unveiled by Fr principal Johnson L Sequeira, along with the vice principal and members of the editorial committee. The magazine embodies the vibrant spirit of the school, showcasing the talents, creativity and collaborative efforts of students and staff.

Shaila Pereira, assistant editor-in-chief shared behind-the-scenes insights into the making of voice of LCS, highlighting the dedication and meticulous efforts of the editorial board in building the magazine from scratch and attending to every intricate detail. She encouraged students to read the magazine and prepare for the upcoming quiz based on its content.

Fr principal congratulated the students and staff of classes 9 to 12 for their dedication in bringing out the inaugural edition. He commended their hard work and passion for promoting creative expression within the school community.

Adding a melodic highlight to the event, Thea Joanne Lobo of class 10 composed and, along with her peers, performed a special song dedicated to voice of LCS. Their heartfelt performance brought warmth and enthusiasm to the occasion.

The launch of voice of LCS stands as a proud moment for all Lourdites. Featuring a rich collection of articles, poems, event reports and creative pieces from May and June, the magazine celebrates student achievements and documents school life, reflecting the literary and artistic talents of the Lourdite family.
