Bengaluru, Jul 7: CHRIST (Deemed to be University), proudly announces a remarkable leap in both global and national rankings this year, along with prestigious accolades affirming its unwavering commitment to quality, innovation, and impact.
In the recently released QS World University Rankings 2026, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) has earned a spot in the 1401+ band, reaffirming its emergence as a globally recognized institution. With only 54 universities from India making, it to this prestigious list, CHRIST stands tall among the nation's academic elite on the world stage. This milestone reflects the University’s unwavering commitment to research excellence, innovative pedagogy, global engagement, and sustainable development goals, all of which have contributed to this notable recognition in the international academic arena.
In the India Today–MDRA Best Colleges Ranking 2025, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) has once again showcased academic excellence across disciplines. BCA has retained its No. 1 national ranking, while several other programmes including BBA, BSc, MSW, Mass Communication, have secured top 10 positions across national and regional levels. The University has also successfully maintained its standing in multiple other streams, while the School of Architecture made an impressive first-time entry, debuting at 24th rank which is a strong testament to CHRIST’s expanding academic footprint.
In the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) has demonstrated significant upward progress across all Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Notably, CHRIST secured a place in the 201–300 global rank band for SDG 1: No Poverty.
Adding to the celebrations, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) was honoured as the Outstanding Private Deemed University at the prestigious Economic Times Education Excellence Awards. In addition, CHRIST was named Winner for Excellence in Tech-Enhanced Training and Placement at the TechEDU India Awards 2025, also presented by The Economic Times.
