International Plastic Bag-free Day observed by MBA dept of MITK

Kundapur, Jul 7: The International Plastic Bag-free Day was celebrated on July 3 by the MBA department of Moodlakatte Institute of Technology (MITK), Kundapur.

In recent times, the use of plastic bags has been increasing, and with the aim of informing people about the harmful effects on the environment and using cloth bags as much as possible to reduce the damage to the environment and to ensure social well-being, the students went door to door and distributed cloth bags free of cost to create awareness among the people.

The programme was supervised by Prof Nagaveni. MBA department head Dr Suchitra Poojary and other lecturers were present in the programme.
