Udupi: Doctors' felicitation, free medical camp at Adarsha Hospital on Jul 6

Udupi, Jul 3: On the occasion of Doctor’s Day Adarsha Hospital Udupi in association with Adarsha Charitable Trust, will hold a felicitation programme for doctors and free medical camp, from 9 am to 1 pm on July 6.

In the event, senior medical expert Dr N R Rao, Udupi district surveyor Dr Nagaratna B Shastri, family welfare officer Dr Sri Ram Rao, Udupi taluk health officer Dr Vasudev Upadyay, taluk malaria eradication officer Dr Prashant Bhat, Dr Shashikiran Achar Bailur, Dr Bhavani Shankar Padubidri, will be felicitated for their selfless, efficient and sincere services in the medical field.

The programme will be inaugurated by MLA Yashpal Suvarna. Former minister Vinay Kumar Sorake, additional deputy commissioner Abid Gadyal, Udupi district health and family welfare officer Basavaraj Hubballi and CEO of Adarsha Hospital Vimala Chandrashekar, will be present as chief guest, informed medical director of the hospital, Dr G S Chandrashekar.

As part of the camp, free health check-ups, including complete blood count (CBC), blood sugar, fat content tests, and liver scanning will be conducted by specialist doctors. In addition, heart scanning and TMT tests will be carried out free of cost for patients as advised by doctors.

The public is requested to participate in the camp and make use of the health services offered.
