Udupi: Jyothi Krishna Hebbar to be installed as district Mahila Congress president on July 4

Udupi, Jul 2: The installation ceremony of the newly appointed president of Udupi District Mahila Congress Committee, Jyothi Krishna Hebbar, and the committee office-bearers will be held, at 10 am in Sri Narayana Guru Auditorium, Bannanje, Udupi on July 4.

Jyothi Krishna Hebbar, president, Udupi District Mahila Congress, told reporters in a press meet held at Udupi Press Club on July 2, that, “With the support of all Congress leaders I am appointed as the president of Udupi district Mahila Congress. The installation ceremony will be attended by Karnataka Pradesh Mahila Congress Committee president Sowmya Reddy and State Guarantee Committee vice-president Dr Pushpa Amarnath will also participate in the event.”









Also present on the occasion will be Udupi District Congress Committee president Ashok Kumar Kodavoor, KPCC working president Dr Manjunath Bhandari, MLC Ivan D’Souza, State Publicity Committee president Vinay Kumar Sorake, former MP K Jayaprakash Hegde, former MLA K Gopal Poojary and M A Ghafoor, along with leaders Prasad Raj Kanchan, Dinesh Hegde Molahalli, Muniaylu Uday Shetty, Ramesh Kanchan, among others.

KPCC spokesperson Veronica Cornelio, general secretary State Mahila Congress Geetha Wagle, general secretary State Mahila Congress and president of Karkala Block Congress Bhanu Baskar, former president Udupi City Municipality and District Mahila Congress secretary Meenakshi Madhav Bannaje, District Mahila Congress vice president and former president Mahila Block Chandrika Shetty, former vice president Udupi Municipality Sandhya Thilakraj, and former president Alevoor Grama Panchayat Pushpa Anchan were present during the press meet.
