Mangaluru, Jul 1: Mount Carmel Central School, joyfully welcomed its enthusiastic upper kindergarten students into the Bunny Movement with a delightful and heart-warming installation ceremony held on June 30. The atmosphere was transformed into a vibrant wonderland, adorned with cheerful bunny cut-outs and festive decorations. At the heart of it all stood the charming bunny burrow, a symbolic abode that captured everyone’s imagination.
The ceremony commenced with a prayer, seeking God’s blessings on the little ones as they set forth on their joyful journey of early learning. The chief guest for the occasion, madam Ilona, School Guide captain and ADC of Guides Movement of Mangaluru, was warmly escorted by the administrator, Sr Carissima and Tr Neetha, the coordinator of school’s Bunny Movement.
Tr Sandra welcomed the chief guest with a posy, a gesture of warmth and appreciation. The dignitaries then officially inaugurated the Bunny Movement for the academic year 2025-26 by ceremoniously opening the bunny burrow, a joyful gesture that marked the beginning of the little one’s delightful bunny trail. This was followed by the chief guest administering the Bunny Motto and Law, marking a special moment in the ceremony. Bunny aprons were then ceremoniously presented to the children.
The highlight of the event was the sight of the little ones donning their bunny aprons and hopping joyfully to a playful tune led by Tr Neetha, a moment that melted hearts and brought wide smiles across the audience. The young bunnies captivated everyone with their adorable performances, rhymes, and group activities, radiating innocence and enthusiasm.
The ceremony concluded with uplifting messages from the chief guest and the administrator, encouraging the children on their new journey. Tr Orine proposed the vote of thanks, and Tr Sumana efficiently compered the event.
It was a truly memorable day, one filled with laughter, learning, and love, marking the beautiful beginning of a nurturing and joyous educational adventure.
