Mangaluru, Jun 28: St Aloysius Gonzaga School, hosted its grand Investiture Ceremony on June 27, to formally induct the newly elected student council for the academic year 2025–26. The chief guest for the day, Aroor Arjun Rao, director of Arvind Motors Pvt Ltd and Supreme Auto Dealers Pvt Ltd, graced the occasion and delivered a motivational address, urging the young leaders to lead with integrity, discipline, and vision.

In an inspiring address, chief guest Rao encouraged students to trust themselves and persevere, sharing his own experiences in motor sports. The principal reinforced this message, highlighting key leadership qualities and urging students to be courageous and proactive, drawing lessons from Rao's achievements and parental examples. He also emphasized that every challenge has a solution, underscoring the importance of teamwork and collaboration in achieving success.

The solemn ceremony began with a graceful march by the student leaders, followed by a prayer and the symbolic lighting of the lamp. The esteemed dignitaries conferred the sashes and badges to the council members, who then took the oath of office with pride and commitment. The newly appointed head boy Swithin Lobo of class XII and head girl Sadhvi Sandesh Rai of class X delivered stirring speeches, expressing gratitude and sharing their aspirations for the year ahead. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, the National Anthem, and a group photograph, marking a significant milestone in the school’s leadership journey.
