Mangaluru, Jun 27: ‘Kothalavadi’, the much-anticipated debut production of Pushpa Arun Kumar—mother of Rocking Star Yash—is set for theatrical release on August 1. Backed by her new banner PA Productions, the film marks her entry into cinema with a vision to elevate fresh voices and emerging talent in Kannada film.

Stepping into a bold new avatar, Pruthvi Ambaar headlines the film in a gritty, mass-appeal role that sharply contrasts his earlier romantic hero image. His performance is expected to be a major draw for audiences eager to see this transformation.

Kavya Shaiva, known for her work in television, makes her silver screen debut opposite Pruthvi. The cast also includes acclaimed actors Gopalkrishna Deshpande and Rajesh Nataranga.

Directed by newcomer Sriraj, Kothalavadi has already created buzz with its raw-toned teaser and grounded storytelling. The film's technical crew features Vikas Vasishta on music, Abhinandan Kashyap for background score, cinematography by Karthik S, and editing by Ramisetty Pawan. Dialogues are penned by Raghu Niduvalli, with lyrics by V Nagendra Prasad, Kinnal Raj, Pramod Maravante, and Ghouse Peer.
