Mangaluru, Jun 27: Yenepoya PU College organized an orientation programme on CA foundation on June 24 for the first PUC commerce students. The objective of the session was to introduce students to the CA foundation journey. The orientation began with a warm welcome and smooth coordination by Prameela D'Souza, who served as the master of ceremony for the programme.
Her professionalism ensured the seamless flow of the event. The orientation began with an insightful session by the resource person, Adarsh Shenoy, a chartered accountant (FCA, BCom). Shenoy shared his expert knowledge and experience about the CA course structure, strategies to crack the CA Foundation exam, and the prestige and opportunities associated with the CA profession. His motivational address provided students with a clear understanding of the effort and discipline required for success in the field of CA.
Following Shenoy’s talk, Sinan Zakariyya, the academic advisor to Yenepoya PU College, delivered an inspiring address. He encouraged students to confidently pursue the CA foundation course irrespective of their current academic background. His key message emphasized that determination and focus outweigh prior academic performance when it comes to succeeding in professional courses like CA.
The session was presided over by the principal of Yenepoya PU College, Uzwal Rodney Menezes, who in his presidential address, emphasized the institution’s commitment to nurturing future professionals and creating platforms for academic and career advancement. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Hamad Basheer, who expressed gratitude to the esteemed resource person, the organizing team, and the enthusiastic student audience for making the event a grand success.
