Mangaluru, Jun 24: Foundation Stone laying ceremony was held on June 21 for the new emergency block at Fr L M Pinto Hospital Badyar. Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of Mangalore diocese, conducted the prayer service of the blessing. Michael D’Souza and Flavia D’Souza and family NRI entrepreneur and philanthropist donated Rs 75 lac for the entire project.

In his message he highlighted the need for reaching out to the community through our selfless service and generous contribution. Bishop and dignitaries on the dais joined together to felicitate Michael D’Souza and Flavia D’Souza.

Fr Maxim Rosario conducted felicitation programme. During the programme the new website https://frlmpintohospital.org was launched by Fr Vincent D’Souza. The hospital logo was also unveiled by Fr Walter D’Mello, parish priest of Belthangady. Fr Roshan Crasta, administrator of the hospital and Premalatha Frank, vice president, Badyar Church were present on the dais. Nursing superintendent Sr Janet compered the programme.
