Mumbai, Jun 23: Actress Sheen Dass is stepping into uncharted territory with her lead role in the supernatural drama "Aami Dakini – Husn Bhi, Maut Bhi", set to premiere on Sony Entertainment Television and SonyLIV.
In an exclusive chat, Sheen spoke about the eerie experience of shooting in haunted, abandoned Rajbaris in Kolkata. “The place had such a spooky vibe, you couldn’t help but feel uneasy—even though nothing paranormal happened,” she shared.
But it’s not just the filming locations that gave her chills. For Sheen, playing the enigmatic Dakini—a magical, heartbroken spirit—has been one of her most emotionally charged roles yet. “She’s not your typical ghost. Dakini is a deeply emotional character. A brilliant dancer, a woman of magic and love who’s been betrayed, and now clings to hope even after death,” Sheen said.
Describing the character as “multifaceted,” Sheen added, “There’s revenge, romance, pain, passion, and performance. I’ve never done something like this before—it’s a complete package. As an actor, this role has let me explore so many emotions.”
Aami Dakini – Husn Bhi, Maut Bhi will air Monday to Friday at 8:00 PM. The series promises a potent mix of supernatural mystery, emotional depth, and gothic romance—anchored by a performance that Sheen Dass says is one of her most rewarding yet.
