Mumbai, Jun 20: Chaos unfolded at the screening of Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par in Mumbai on Thursday evening as fans gathered in large numbers to catch a glimpse of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. However, what caught everyone’s attention was an unexpected moment involving Aamir’s son, Junaid Khan.

In a now-viral video, Salman is seen exiting the venue surrounded by heavy security. Amid the frenzy, Junaid approached the actor, seemingly to greet him, but was mistakenly shoved aside by one of the guards, who failed to recognise him and assumed he was a fan.

Junaid, who tried to clarify his identity, struggled momentarily before finally being acknowledged—but not before the awkward exchange was caught on camera and widely circulated online.

The incident reminded netizens of a similar moment during IIFA 2023, when actor Vicky Kaushal was also pushed aside by Salman’s security team as he attempted to greet the star.

Junaid Khan, who made his acting debut in 2024 with Netflix’s Maharaj, had his first theatrical release this year with Loveyapa, alongside Khushi Kapoor. Despite facing criticism for his performance, he is set to appear next in Ek Din, which also marks Sai Pallavi’s Bollywood debut. The film is expected to release later this year or in early 2026.
