Hina Khan flaunts pigtails amid cancer battle, celebrates small joys

Mumbai, Jun 17: Actress Hina Khan, known for her role in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, shared a heartwarming moment with her fans as she flaunted her pigtails for the first time in one and a half years, amid her ongoing battle with cancer.

Taking to Instagram, Hina posted a series of adorable selfies in a pink night suit, beaming with joy as she styled her hair into pigtails. The actress, who has been candid about her health journey, looked radiant in a no-makeup look.

“Put my hair in pigtails after a year and a half... can’t explain Howwww Howwww Howwwww, I have missed those hair flips.. waitingggg.. OneDayAtATime..Ufffffff ye choti choti khushiyan..,” she captioned the post.

The photos quickly gained love from fans and industry peers, who applauded her positivity and strength during this tough phase.

On June 4, Hina tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend Rocky Jaiswal in a simple court marriage. The actress, who calls herself a “minimalist bride”, wore a Manish Malhotra opal green handloom saree with a blush pink border, paired with a soft pink blouse. Her understated elegance was widely appreciated.

Sharing wedding pictures on Instagram, Hina wrote: "It was so reassuring to see that I managed to remain as minimalistic as I envisioned myself on this beautiful and personal landmark of a day. No heavy lehengas, heavy makeup or heavy jewellery, no extensive hairdos or elaborated accessories."

Announcing the union with a heartfelt message, she posted: "From two different worlds, we built a universe of love... Today, our union is forever sealed in love and law. We seek your Blessings and Wishes as Wife and Husband."
