Traffic blocked for hours on Udupi–Agumbe Road after tree fall

Udupi, June 17: All the vehicles on Udupi - Agumbe road were stuck for hours due to the tree fall near Agumbe checkpost in Theerthahalli taluk.

A big tree got uprooted near the Agumbe checkpost and fell on the road blocking the traffic movement.

Many passenger buses including ambulances heading towards Manipal were struck in the traffic jam caused by the incident.

Agumbe SI Shivana Gowda and team immediately rushed to the spot and cleared way for the traffic movement.
