Bengaluru, Jun 16: In a heart-wrenching incident reported from Kunigal Bypass near Nelamangala, a devastating road accident claimed the lives of two budding dancers when a speeding truck collided head-on with their motorcycle on Monday.

The deceased have been identified as Prajwal (22) and Sahana (21), both residents of Srirampura in Bengaluru. According to sources, the duo had just wrapped up a performance at a wedding event and were on their way back to the city when tragedy struck.

Preliminary reports suggest that a truck, reportedly travelling at high speed, rammed into the bike, resulting in the immediate death of both riders. The impact was so severe that the two were declared dead at the scene.

Prajwal, known for his performances in several Kannada films and live events, and Sahana, also a professional dancer, were a familiar duo in the dance circuit. The sudden demise of the talented artists has left their friends and colleagues in deep shock.

Local police arrived at the scene shortly after the mishap, seized the truck, and have taken the driver into custody for questioning. An investigation is underway to ascertain the exact cause of the accident.
