Karkala, Jun 12: Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir marked the auspicious beginning of the new academic year with a Vidyarambha ceremony held on June 11.

On this occasion, a Ganahoma was performed, followed by the traditional Aksharabhyasa ritual for the newly admitted pre-primary students.

The spiritual proceedings were led by Dinesh Bhat, the officiating priest, who invoked divine blessings for a fruitful academic journey. The event was organized under the leadership of M Dinesh Kamath, treasurer of the school management committee, along with his family.

During the ceremony, Dinesh Bhat highlighted the significance of a child’s holistic development, stating, “A child’s all-round growth is nurtured through the blessings of elders, divine grace, and the dedicated efforts of teachers and parents. Cultivating the habit of early morning study in children will further enhance their learning journey.”

Adding a spiritual ambiance to the event, the students presented a soulful satsang. The wholehearted involvement and encouragement of the parents were noteworthy and commendable.

The ceremony witnessed the gracious presence of the school principal, teaching faculty, and parents, who collectively contributed to the success and sanctity of the event.
