Udupi: Adarsha Hospital to hosts free liver health screening camp on Jun 13

Udupi, Jun 11: Adarsha Hospital, Udupi is organizing a liver health screening camp to mark Global Fatty Liver Day on Friday, June 13 from 9 am to 1 pm at the new OPD, Adarsha Hospital, Udupi.

The camp aims to spread awareness about fatty liver disease, a growing concern among both urban and rural populations due to lifestyle changes. The event will feature an awareness session by Dr Satish K Nayak, consultant in gastroenterology, who will shed light on the causes, risks, and preventive measures related to fatty liver.

As part of the screening, free registration, consultation, and the investigations will be offered for liver function test, HBSAG, HCV Test, FibroScan, diet consultation. Dr Satish K Nayak, MD, DNB – gastroenterology will lead the consultation services during the camp.
