Las Vegas, Jun 10: In a chilling incident that unfolded live on camera, a confrontation between two rival YouTubers ended in a double homicide near the iconic Bellagio fountains in Las Vegas late Sunday night. Police confirmed that the dispute, which had escalated over a prolonged social media rivalry, culminated in a deadly shooting that claimed the lives of a man and a woman.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the suspect, identified as 41-year-old Manuel Ruiz, turned himself in to the Henderson Police Department on Monday morning. Authorities stated he will be charged with two counts of open murder with a deadly weapon.

The shooting occurred at approximately 10:40 p.m. along the 3600 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard. Nearby patrol officers, who heard the gunfire, rushed to the scene and found both victims with critical gunshot injuries. Despite immediate medical aid, both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene.

Though the police have yet to officially name the victims, online communities widely identified them as YouTuber Finny Da Legend and his wife, known online as Bubbly. The fatal moments were livestreamed, and widely circulated video snippets showed the suspected gunman briefly appearing before an argument broke out and shots were fired.

Undersheriff Andrew Walsh said that early findings indicate the incident was not random. "There had been previous hostility between the suspect and one of the victims, and they had used several social media platforms to voice their grievances," he revealed during a press conference.

Investigations have revealed that Ruiz, known online as “Sin City Manny,” had recently posted videos appearing to search for Finny in Las Vegas. In contrast, Finny had accused Ruiz of being unstable and suicidal in past streams — a narrative that seemingly stoked the existing animosity.

Fellow YouTuber Marc Sanson, known online as TheOtherMeLV, expressed deep sorrow, stating, “This was a terrible act of hate. Our hearts break for the families and children affected. We’ve lost close friends.”

According to reports, the altercation escalated when Bubbly was seen confronting Ruiz, who then pulled out a gun and fired. Screams rang out as bystanders scattered. A police officer was later seen switching off the camera.

The livestream has since been taken down from YouTube, and Ruiz's channel, "Sin City Family," has been deleted for violating the platform's guidelines. Finny's channel remains active as of now, with the last video posted on June 7.

The crime scene was temporarily sealed off for investigation but has since reopened. While locals and tourists expressed shock, many commended the Las Vegas police for their swift response in a situation that has shaken the digital content creation community across the country.
