New Delhi, Jun 9: Union home minister Amit Shah on Monday hailed the past 11 years under Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a ‘golden period’ of unwavering dedication to public service, bringing transformative progress in economic revival, social justice, cultural pride, and national security.
In a post on X, Shah described the Modi government’s tenure as an era defined by clear leadership, firm resolve, and a strong intention to serve the nation. “The historic 11 years of the Modi Government have been a golden period of resolve, endeavour and dedication towards public service,” he wrote.

Prime Minister Modi first assumed office on May 26, 2014, and is now serving his third consecutive term. To mark the milestone, the Union government released a comprehensive e-book detailing achievements across 14 key sectors, including infrastructure, foreign policy, education, and social empowerment.
The e-book underscores the government’s commitment to inclusive, progressive, and sustainable development. It highlights how ‘Vikasvaad’ the politics of development has become central to India’s political and policy discourse under Modi’s leadership, with an unwavering ‘India First’ approach.
Among the government’s landmark accomplishments are the rapid COVID-19 vaccination drive, record-breaking exports, digital transformation powered by the JAM Trinity (Jan Dhan, Aadhaar, and Mobile), rural electrification, and extensive access to drinking water.
The book also highlights India’s global leadership in environmental conservation and cultural heritage, citing the United Nations’ recognition of International Yoga Day. It praises Operation SINDOOR as a testament to India’s resolute, swift, and sovereign stance on the world stage.
With a comprehensive focus on development and social justice, the Modi government’s 11-year journey has aimed to create equitable opportunities for all citizens, lifting marginalized communities and propelling India onto a new trajectory of growth and global influence.
