Mumbai, Jun 3: Bollywood’s celebrated filmmaker Karan Johar gave fans a heartwarming glimpse into his personal life on Tuesday, as he introduced the newest member of his family a furry companion named Nugget.

Taking to Instagram, KJo shared adorable pictures of his children, Yash and Roohi, along with their six-month-old pet dog. “He has been with us for 6 months and has given us so much joy and so much love … we want you to meet our newest member of our family,” Johar wrote in the caption.

While his home life made headlines, Johar also sparked excitement in the film world by announcing his upcoming romantic drama Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri. The film, featuring Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday, is scheduled for release on February 13, 2026 just in time for Valentine’s Day.

KJo shared a poster of the film on Instagram, capturing Kartik and Ananya in a romantic moment behind an Indian passport. “Signed, sealed & delivering hamaari Ray ki Rumi!” he wrote, confirming the much-anticipated release.

The movie marks a reunion for the lead pair after their 2019 hit Pati Patni Aur Woh, and also signals a fresh chapter in Johar’s professional equation with Kartik. The duo had earlier parted ways unceremoniously over Dostana 2, but appear to have reconciled with this new collaboration.

Over the years, Kartik has risen as one of Bollywood’s top stars, especially after the pandemic, while Johar had to recalibrate his production house. In a significant business move, KJo sold 50% of his stake in Dharma Productions to Adar Poonawalla, CEO of Serum Institute of India.

With a new family addition and fresh creative ventures, Karan Johar seems ready to turn the page both personally and professionally.
