Rahul Gandhi slams PM Modi's ‘Filmi Dialogues’, questions stand on Pakistan

Daijiworld Media Network - New Delhi

New Delhi, May 22: Reacting to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s fiery remarks during a rally in Rajasthan, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi hit back sharply, accusing the PM of showmanship. “Why does your blood boil only when cameras are on?” Gandhi posted on X.

At the Bikaner rally, PM Modi had said, “There is no blood flowing in Modi’s veins, but hot sindoor,” while speaking about Operation Sindoor that targeted Pakistan-backed terrorists after the Pahalgam attack. He claimed the operation showed Pakistan it would pay dearly for supporting terror.

Gandhi questioned Modi's past decisions, including believing Pakistan’s word on terrorism and allegedly compromising India's interests during meetings with US President Donald Trump. “Modiji, stop giving hollow speeches,” he wrote.

Echoing Gandhi, Congress' Jairam Ramesh mocked Modi’s "filmi dialogues," urging him to address why Pahalgam attackers remain at large. He also criticized the PM for not holding an all-party meet to discuss the situation.

Modi had evoked strong emotions recalling the April 22 attack, saying, “Those bullets in Pahalgam pierced the hearts of 140 crore Indians.” India had responded with strikes on terror camps and Pakistani military bases, ending only after a ceasefire was brokered by the DGMOs of both nations.
