Faridabad, May 20: A 35-year-old man, Manoj Chauhan, succumbed to injuries after a brutal assault by his friends in Faridabad's Sector 58. The incident occurred on May 17, when Chauhan was allegedly attacked by four acquaintances during a bathing session at a farmhouse.
According to police reports, the accused—identified as Atinder, Kartik, Sandeep, and Rahul (alias Kabutar), all under 30—inserted a water pipe connected to a running submersible into Chauhan's private parts, releasing high-pressure water. This act caused severe internal injuries, leading to his death during treatment at a hospital.

An FIR has been registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at Sector 58 police station, based on a complaint filed by the victim's brother, Anand Chauhan. Anand stated that his brother disclosed the assault details before passing away.
Police have arrested Sandeep and Rahul, both residents of Sanjay Colony, and are conducting raids to apprehend the remaining accused, Atinder and Kartik.
During interrogation, the arrested individuals revealed that they had attended a wedding function with Manoj on the night of May 16. The following morning, they went to a farmhouse near the dumping yard to freshen up, where the assault took place.
The incident has shocked the local community, highlighting the need for awareness and preventive measures against such acts of violence.
