Mumbai, May 18: Bollywood icon Madhuri Dixit recently marked a special family milestone as she attended her elder son Arin’s graduation ceremony alongside her husband, Dr Shriram Nene. The celebration coincided with another joyful occasion—Madhuri’s 58th birthday.

Dr Nene shared glimpses of the proud moment on Instagram, featuring the family posing with Arin and fellow graduates’ families. The ever-elegant Madhuri stood out in a stylish black-and-white pantsuit, accessorized with chic black sunglasses.

In his heartfelt caption, Dr Nene wrote:

"All in a week’s work! Loved every part of the ceremonies and am so proud of Arin and his classmates. And the best part is MD celebrated her birthday with Arin graduating! What an amazing present for both," followed by a red heart emoji.

To mark Madhuri’s birthday, Dr Nene also posted a touching tribute on social media. Alongside a carousel of family photos—including romantic snapshots of the couple and sweet family portraits with their sons Arin and Ryan—he wrote:

"Happy Birthday to the one who’s brightened our lives in every way. You’ve made everything lighter, warmer, and better—just by being you. I’d choose you all over again in a heartbeat... I love you, always."

The couple, who married in 1999, spent the early years of their marriage in the U.S. before returning to India, where Madhuri revived her Bollywood career.

On the professional front, Madhuri is gearing up for her next project, the highly anticipated web series “Mrs. Deshpande”—a psychological thriller directed by Nagesh Kukunoor. In this bold new role, she portrays a complex character: a serial killer. The series is an Indian adaptation of a hit French show and promises to showcase Madhuri in a never-seen-before avatar.
