Chandigarh, May 13: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Tuesday hailed the successful completion of ‘Operation Sindoor’ as a powerful symbol of India's dignity, courage, and national resolve, crediting the nation’s armed forces and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership for its historic impact.
Addressing a large gathering at the launch of ‘Tiranga Yatra — A Yatra Deshbhakti Ke Naam’ in Panchkula, CM Saini said the operation reflected the unshakable will and bravery of Indian soldiers, while showcasing India’s self-respect on the world stage.
The patriotic march, which began at Yavanika Town Park in Sector 5 and concluded at the Major Sandeep Shankla Memorial, saw participation from thousands of citizens, including women and children, chanting slogans like ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Vande Mataram’. The Chief Minister, along with state ministers, laid floral tributes to martyrs, honouring their ultimate sacrifice.

Speaking at the event, Saini stated, “Our soldiers have given a befitting reply to those who pose a threat to the nation. They’ve ensured that India’s Tricolour remains high and untarnished. This yatra is not just a celebration, but a reaffirmation of our unity and a tribute to those who defend our motherland.”
He described the Tiranga Yatra as a living expression of patriotism, urging citizens to draw inspiration from the bravery and discipline of Indian forces. According to Saini, Operation Sindoor under PM Modi’s command has become more than a military success — it now stands as a symbol of India’s national pride and strategic will.
He concluded by highlighting the Prime Minister's firm message to the world: “India will go to any extent to protect its people.”
