Shimla, May 4: Bollywood actress Neetu Kapoor and her daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni recently enjoyed some heartfelt mother-daughter moments as they twinned in stylish denim outfits during their getaway to Shimla.

Neetu took to Instagram stories to share a cheerful selfie with Riddhima, captioning it “Our denim connection.” The duo was seen enjoying their time together at the picturesque Wildflower Hall, making memories in matching denim jackets. While Neetu, who was last seen in Jug Jugg Jeeyo, teamed her jacket with baggy denim trousers, Riddhima complemented her look with a crisp white pair of pants. Both kept it casual and chic with comfortable footwear.

The outing came just a day after Neetu paid tribute to her late husband, legendary actor Rishi Kapoor, on his fifth death anniversary. Sharing a smiling picture of Rishi holding a drink, Neetu remembered his vibrant spirit and captioned the post, “Miss you, Kapoor sahab.”

Additional photos showed Rishi Kapoor in the company of close friends and family, including a warm moment with his daughter and granddaughter.

Neetu and Rishi’s love story began on the sets of the 1974 film Zehrela Insaan. Though they didn’t connect immediately, their bond grew stronger during the filming of Kabhie Kabhie in 1976. The couple tied the knot on January 22, 1980, and had two children – Riddhima and Ranbir Kapoor.

Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 30, 2020, after battling cancer for two years. He was 67.
