Mangaluru, May 26: An Orientation programme was held for the teaching faculty of Lady Hill Institutions on May 24 by the Apostolic Carmel Management.
It was a thought-provoking session conducted.
Fr Cyril Anand Periera OFM. an inspirational speaker and a councilor participated.
Teacher Rita welcomed and introduced the guest speaker. Sr Violet Tauro A C joint secretary of Lady Hill institutions gave a floral welcome to the guest. Sr Ujvala A C. principal of Lady Hill Victoria Composite PU College graced the occasion.
Fr Cyril, in his unique presentation pondered on the need for teachers as educators and sculptors of future generation to change their attitude and perspective towards students. He also stressed on the need to imbibe the qualities of a good teacher.
Teacher Rita compered the programme and teacher Bindu rendered the vote of thanks.
