Udupi: SMVITM organizes session on ‘The Engineering Toolkit’

Udupi, Feb 6: The department of computer science and engineering, in association with IEEE student branch, ISTE student chapter, placement cell, cocurricular and alumni cell jointly organized a talk on ‘The Engineering Toolkit’ on February 3.

Deepak Nayak, founding engineer and working in ClearFeed.ai, Bengaluru, who is an alumnus of SMVITM was the resource person. The resource person spoke about the technological aspects of the toolkit, stressing the need for engineers to stay at the forefront of technological advancements and he underscored the dynamic nature of the engineering field, advocating for a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. He also emphasized on the toolkit that extends beyond technical skills to include a mindset that embraces change and is resilient in the face of evolving challenges.

The HOD of CSE Dr Soumya J Bhat, dean of academics Dr Nagaraj Bhat, administrative officer MBA Vidya Bhat and other faculty and staff members of CSE were present during the event. Kathyayini Kamath was the master of ceremony and also presented the vote of thanks.
