Mangaluru: Carmel School Kindergarten celebrates “Rainbow Day” on February 2

Media Release

Mangaluru, Feb 5: The tiny tots of Carmel School celebrated 'Rainbow Day' as a part of their curriculum on February 2, 2024. It was indeed a fun-filled experience for the little ones while they were made to understand how the phenomena of nature work. Teachers and children dressed up in colourful hues of the rainbow. Children spoke on the colours of the rainbow and their significance, sang rhymes and also made crafts with paper plate, cotton and coloured paper strips representing the colours. They also took part enthusiastically in the colouring activity.

The little ones also understood the process involved in the formation of a rainbow. Through hands on activity, the tiny tots were able to understand the concept of “Rainbow colours”.

Sister Lilly Pushpa, the principal; Dr Sister Prem Dsouza the administrator and Sister Premal, the vice-principal also joined the celebration. Rainbow Day was made unforgettable with fun and colours and a selfie corner for the kids.
