Mangaluru, Jan 17: Pruthvi Ambaar, renowned for his role in ‘Dia’, is set to return with a fresh romantic drama titled ‘Juni’, scheduled for release on February 9. Departing from his previous dramatic roles, this time he takes on the delightful character of a chef in a heartwarming story directed by Vibhav Mahadev. The character teaser of the movie has been released now on YouTube.

In this directorial debut, Vaibhav Madhav, known for his work in short films, not only directed but also wrote and choreographed ‘Juni’. Produced by Mohan Kumar’s Trishul Creation and Shreyas VS, the film features Rishika Nayak alongside Pruthvi and was shot in Bengaluru. With a musical score by Nakul Abhyankar, cinematography by Ajin B and Jithin Das, and art direction by Navin, ‘Juni’ promises a journey filled with love, laughter, and perhaps a few delectable dishes.

Having made his mark in Hindi and Marathi film remakes of ‘Dia’ last year, Pruthvi has an intriguing lineup of Kannada films, including ‘Bhuvanam Gaganam’, ‘For Regn’, ‘Life is Beautiful’, and ‘Matsyagandha’. In a recent interview, he expressed his eagerness to explore diverse roles, steering away from the typical lover boy archetype after the OTT success of ‘Dia’.

Despite the growing interest from filmmakers, Pruthvi acknowledges the challenge of getting films into theatres. He emphasizes the potential transformative power of a single hit, opening doors for pursuing desired projects. Fearing limitations if success continues to elude him, Pruthvi remains driven to create a commercially successful project for a lasting acting career.
