Udupi, Jun 1: Malpe police officer and staff conducted raids and took 18 people into custody for gambling.

The gambling was in progress at Kodavoor, Malpe police station limits.

The police team confiscated Rs 1,72,080 in cash, 18 mobile phones and six two wheelers in this connection.
