Puttur: Daylight robbery at Bannur

Puttur, May 30: Thieves entered a house at Bannur in broad daylight on Monday June 29 afternoon.

The thieves entered the house of Mounish, member of Bannur Kuntyana Sadashiva temple before 12 noon when no one was at home. At noon, when the house inmates entered the house the matter came to light. The thieves had entered the house by breaking open the lock that was put on the rear door.

All the items in the house were strewn all over the place. It is not yet known what the thieves have stolen from the house. Fingerprint experts and a canine squad visited the spot. A complaint is filed in the police station.
