After dream debut, Leonilla D'Souza to star in Kannada flick ‘Hejjaru’

Mangaluru, May 26: Leonilla D'Souza, who had a dream debut in Kannada and Bollywood movie, will be seen in her next Kannada flick ‘Hejjaru’ directed by Harsha Priya under the banner Ramji Productions.

Leonilla is paired along with Abhi Alva along with senior actors like Aruna Balraj, Naveen Krishna, Gopal Krishna Deshpande. The post production work of Hejjaru is underway and will be released soon. Hejjaru movie is completely shot across Belthangady and Bengaluru.

Hejjaru is an love story movie where Leonilla plays character of simple girl from a middle class family.

Leonilla has made her debut in Kannada and Bollywood movie in ‘Kasagi Putagalu’ and ‘Y’ respectively. The performance of Leonilla was widely appreciated and audience was highly impressed by it.

'Kasagi Putagalu' and 'Y' were of completely different genres and even the characters were different from one another. Leonilla showed her skills and managed to take up the character and perform on screen with ease.

It is also a dream come true for Leonilla as she signed a movie under Raj B Shetty which is expected to be announced soon. Apart from it, she got offers in Tamil and Telugu which are in the stages of discussion.

Leonilla's hometown is Permude near Bajpe. She was born to Helen D'Souza and Lawrence D'Souza. Leonilla completed her schooling from Morning Star school Bajpe and St Ann’s Mangaluru. She completed her PU at Canara College, before completing her engineering at Dr Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Bengaluru. Leonilla is working in an IT company in Bengaluru.

Leonilla D'Souza is a highly talented actress who is also inclined towards sports and dance. Leonilla’s parents have been her pillar of strength throughout her career to help her reach where she stands today.
