Mangaluru, May 25: A two-day national level management fest Shriyans - 2023 was organized by MBA department of Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil on May 23-24. As many as 520 students from different MBA and UG colleges participated in the fest. Muralidhar G Shenoy, zonal head Canara Robeco Mutual Fund, Mangaluru was the chief guest for the valedictory function on May 24. Cash prize, trophies and certificates to the winners of various colleges were distributed by the dignitaries.
The overall winner in the event was SDM PG Center Mangaluru, and the overall runners up were AJ Institute of Technology Mangaluru. The best manager was won by student of Canara College Mangaluru. In the marketing event, the first position went to AJ Institute of Technology Mangaluru, and second position was secured by St Joseph Engineering College Vamanjoor. In the finance event, the first position went to SDM PG Center Mangaluru, and second position was secured by AJ Institute of Technology, Mangaluru. In the HR event, the first position went to SDM PG Center Mangaluruand second position was secured by Shree Devi Institute of Technology. In the business quiz event the first position went to AJ Institute of Technology and second position was secured by Shree Devi Institute Of Technology. In the best management team, SDM PG Center Mangaluru.
In the UG events, for the group dance the first place was won by the students of GFGC Car Street Mangaluru and the second place was won by University College Mangaluru . For the treasure hunt event the first place was won by the students of GFGC Car Street and the second place was won by Sri Dhavala College Moodbidri. In photography and cinematography event, the first place was won by the students of Sri Rama First Grade College Kalladka and the second place was won by SDM College Mangaluru. For stand up comedy event, the first place was won by the students of SDM College Mangaluru and the second place was won by GFGC Car Street Mangaluru. Overall championship was won by the students of GFGC Car Steet Mangaluru. The runner up championship was bagged by SDM College Mangaluru.
The function was presided over by Dr Shrinivasa Mayya D, principal of the college. Dr Ajoy S Joseph, HOD of MBA department, Prof Ashwini and Prof Sadananda, staff coordinators, Akhil P, student coordinator of the management fest were present. Hemanth Kumar and Prerana were the masters of ceremony.
