Mangaluru, May 21: Tenth standard student of St Lawrence English Medium school, Bondel, Bhagyashree, daughter of Kamalaksha and Babitha participated in 45th JSKA international open level karate championship competition held on May 13- 14 at V K N Menon Indoor Stadium, Thrissur, Kerala, India and won first place in KATA and third place in KUMITE.


Earlier on May 6-7 of May she had participated in TSKO 2nd National level karate Championship held at C Pa Adhithanar Kalyana Mandapam, Anna Salai, Kodaikanal and won the black belt in KUMITE and Kata. Karate master Kamalaksha trained her.
