Udupi: Horekanike procession held ahead of Dhulimandala seve of Kadiyali temple

Udupi, Mar 22: Horekanike procession of historically famous Kadiyali Sri Mahishamardini temple, on account of Dhwajastamba Prathishte and Dhulimandala Seve, was held on Tuesday.

The procession which began from Sri Krishna Math reached Kadiyali temple via Car Street, Badagupete and Kalsanka. The procession was flagged off ny Sri Sri Vidyasagara Theertha Sripada, Paryaya seer of Sri Krishna Math.

Hundered of devotees took part in the procession. Chende, Tase, bhajans and triumphets increased the grandeur of the procession.

Dr Katte Raviraja Acharya, president of Management committee of temple, K Raghavendra Kini, chief secretary of renovation committee, Bhaskar Sherigar, president of green Horekanike committee, Manjunatha Hebbar, member of management committee, Bharathi Chandrashekhar, vice president of renovation committee and others were present.
