Mangaluru, Dec 31: Director of the Tulu movie ‘Birdhada Kambala’ S V Rajendra Singh Babu said, “Shooting of ‘Birdhada Kambala’ is in its final stages. Renowned actors Prakashraj and Ravishankar have acted in this movie along with stage artistes. As a director this is a very challenging movie. As producer Arun Rai Todar, Rajesh Kudla and Vijaya Kumar Kodialbail were with me, though I do not know Tulu, shooting was done easily.

“As the story is about Kambala, animals are involved in filming. This is not easy. Due to camera and technical work, this movie is going to be released in Kannada, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam languages. The movie is different from other movies. All the scenes are natural. Not only the language and culture of Tulunadu, is this movie going to give huge contribution towards culture and tourism of Tulunadu,” he said.

Vijaya Kumar Kodialbail, who has written dialogues of the movie, said, “Through this movie, Rajendra Singh Babu has given a new angle for Tulu language. It is a very different movie. All should support it.”

Kusaldarase Naveen D Padil said, “Expectation from the movie has gone high. My role is also different. The Janapada culture of Tulunadu will be spread throughout the world. Kambala is not only our culture, but it is our life.”

Swaraj Shetty said, “This movie is about the Kambala, culture of Tulunadu. My role is very unique. I have donned my character passionately. We expect audience support.”
