Udupi, Dec 6: Union minister of agriculture and farmer’s welfare Shobha Karandlaje took part in the inauguration of international millets year 2023 programme held at Rome on Tuesday, December 6.

The United Nations has declared the year as ‘International Millets Year.’ The programme was held as a part of this.

International food and agriculture organization - FAO director general Qu Dongyu and other dignitaries were present.
