Shirva, January 18: Joyson Mathias, aged 19, son of Jerome Mathias ("Jerome Worli"), Kuwait and Helen Maria Mathias, brother of Jane Jyothi Mathias, died in a tragic road accident near Shanthigudde (Shirva-Kaup road) at 8.30 pm on January 17.

Joyson was the 2nd year student of M I T. His close relatives say that he was riding a bike and was returning home from Shanthigudde.

Funeral cortege leaves residence for Our Lady of Health Church, Shirva at 3.30 pm on January 19, 2005.
