Raphael John Baptist D’Souza ‘Bathu’ (64), husband of Elizabeth D’Souza, father of Nirmala / Melwyn, Sheela / Michael, Santosh / Thelma and Pramila, grandfather of Mynol, Nihal and Merl, brother of the late Bishop Basil S D’Souza of Mangalore, Peter, Angeline, Rosario, Sr Alphonsa (Theresa D’Souza), Disciples of the Divine Master, and Philomena D’Souza, passed away on Friday November 14, 2008.

Funeral cortege leaves residence 'Halthot House', for St Lawrence Church, Bondel, Mangalore on Saturday November 15 at 3.00 pm. Mass at 3.30 pm.

I knew Bathu right from 1960,as I was staying in Anjubai's house between 1960 and 1963 while working in Codialbail Press under his brother Bishop Basil. Elizabeth was the classmate of my wife,Lorna. I know the entire family. Our condolences to the whole family of Bathu.
