MARTIN D'SOUZA (62), proprietor, St Lawrence Saw Mill, Darbe, Puttur, passed away on October 2. Funeral will be held in the Yelmudy cemetery at 3 pm on Sunday, October 3.
A successful entrepreneur and social worker, he had served in many social organisations. He was one-time president of the Rotary Club of Puttur and vice president of Mai de Deus parish council. Three days earlier, he had undergone a by-pass surgery at Wockhardt Hospital, Bangalore three and had not recovered thereafter. His body is being brought to Puttur.
He is survived by wife, two sons and a daughter.
