Ameena Gladys Aranha (76), wife of the late Paul Alfred Aranha, daughter of James and Marie Brito, mother of Deepak / Melissa and Zahin / Michelle, grandmother of Rebecca and Zach, sister of Ebbie, Mohan, Lulu, Shirin, Faridha and Zabita, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2026.

Mortal remains will be kept for public viewing at Our Lady of Miracles Church, Milagres, Mangalore, at 2:45 pm followed by Mass at 3:00 pm on September 6, 2026.

Dear Deepak and Zahin and your families, very sad to learn of your mom’s passing. She was a lovely lady, very pleasant and always with a smile. Got to know your lovely parents in the 90’s when you all moved back to Mangalore. I was always happy to learn that you Zahin would stay with my mom and keep her company when we were all away and she was all alone, a great contribution from you and your parents. Will always remember your parents fondly, and may their dear departed souls rest in peace.
