Ricky Victor D'Souza (22), son of Rocky and Precilla D'Souza (Dubai), brother of Precley of Thottam parish, Udupi, passed away at Manipal on Jan 26, 2008 evening. His death is said to have occured due to an electrical shock mishap.

Ricky was a second-year Hotel Management student at Welcome Group College of Hotel Management. He was a former student of Our Own English Highschool, Dubai

Dear Uncle & Aunty & Presley, I used to live on the 2nd floor in your building,same school as Ricky,same bus.I'd heard the news but i couldn't believe it. A friend of mine confirmed it a few days ago.I'm in shock and cannot imagine what you have gone through. Ricky and me used to hang out a lot,we discovered a lot of music together. In fact, we converted a lot of our friends to becoming metal fans :-) I still cannot believe it. I offer my deepest condolences and so does my family. May he rest in peace.
