Aloysius Fernandes (88), husband of Christine Fernandes, father of John Fernandes and Jennifer Fernandes / Gindo Antony, grandfather of Aiden, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.

Mortal remains will be brought to Holy Cross Church, Cordel, Kulshekar, Mangalore On Wednesday, July 01 at 4.30 pm for paying last respects, followed by funeral Mass and burial at 5.00 pm.

Indeed an era has ended at the auto stand near Cordel Church. A man of principles, a man who always put others before self, a simple, humble, sincere and a dedicated auto driver lovingly known as Amso Louisaam. His friendship for the last many years with our family will remain an inspiration for me to do good at all times. Dear Christine Bai and the Family, may God provide you strength to bear this irreplaceable loss. May his gentle soul rest in peace, amen.

One of the most recognised gentleman from Kulshekar Church Parish has left us to his heavenly abode. He was undoubtedly a leading personality in all spiritual activities associated with the Church activities from being a leading part in the Church Choir to attending funeral and doing the logistics for the sick and old. He has done it all. Being a very humble human there was absolutely no one who did not show him respect.. A workaholic till his last breath . Louisaam your memories will always be ethched in our hearts and minds.
