Msgr Leslie Shenoy (79), passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026.Public homage from 2.30 pm, followed by funeral Mass at 3.00 pm in Immaculate Conception Church, Urwa, Mangalore on Wednesday, May 27.

Dear bereaved family members. Mnsgr Leslie Shenoy lived a beautiful life carrying the helpless and downtrodden with him. He contributed not just his care and happiness with them but his hard earned wealth too. He had very few people to help him selfishly. His parishioners at Bendore , Urwa and some caring priests. His relatives one Mr Vas and his wife Shoba rendered selfless service which he always mentioned. Very much saddened to hear the sudden passing away of our most loved Monsignor. I take it has a honor in receiving his final blessings when I met him personally last Sunday 10th May at our St. Sebastian Church Bendur when he usually comes to offer 8.00 am Holy Mass. Beautiful and very much revered long life which touched hearts of thousands. May the departed soul of Monsignor rest in eternal peace and our prayers to him to intercede for us as he enjoys the heavenly bliss. Msgr. Leslie Shenoy returned to the Father after 50 years of priesthood, celebrated just this past 14th May 2026. He spent those 50 years as a giver — to the hungry, the forgotten, the hurting and for the betterment of various Church communities .His jubilee was not just years served, but lives changed.
