Mortal remains will be kept for public viewing in Infant Jesus Shrine, Bikarnakatte, Mangalore on Thursday, May 14 at 2.00 pm, followed by viewing at the residence. Funeral cortege leaves residence 'Little Flower', Derebail Daddalkad, Ashoknagar at 3.30 pm for Most Holy Redeemer Church, Derebail, Mangalore, followed by Mass.

Very sad to hear that Lancy is no more. I have fond memories of him from our Ashoknagar days, especially his active involvement in the early years of St. Dominic Club and the Ashoknagar Church activities in the 1970s. I still remember the evenings when he would play volleyball with us — always cheerful, soft-spoken, and with a gentle smile. From those humble beginnings, he went on to build an extraordinary legacy through sheer hard work, discipline, integrity, and dedication. His contribution to Mangalore’s growth is truly remarkable — not only through the many buildings and projects he created, but also through the churches, temples, mosques, educational institutions, and community spaces he helped build. He was a man who earned respect across communities and lived a life of quiet strength, simplicity, and harmony. My heartfelt condolences to Jessybai, his daughters, grandchildren, and the entire family. May God give you all the strength and courage to bear this great loss. May Lancy’s soul rest in eternal peace.

Sad and shocked to hear of the sudden demise of Lancy. A very simple man. I have fond memories of Lancy when he took up construction work of the new St Joseph's School at Hassan in the late 80's . He was aways helpful and accommodative. Heartfelt condolences to Philomena, his children and the entire family. May Lancy's soul rest in peace .
