Elize Castelino (93), wife of the late Ramond, mother of Gretta / the late Michael, Joyce / the late George, Francis / Gladys, Vincent / Sandra and Jane / Ravi, grandmother of Merlyn / Vincent, Sidney / Gauri, Tina / Neville, Nisha / Alan, Denzil, Sybil / Shankar, Cheryl / Suraj, Rohan / Amanda and Kevin / Amruta, great grandmother of Claire, Miraya, Alisha, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026.

Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 23 at 4.30 pm in Good Shepherd Church, followed by burial at Oshiwara Cemetery.

Dear Greta, Joyce, Allwyn, Vincy and Jane. God blessed your mum with a wonderful life and a lovely family. We were fortunate to know her at close quarters and were privy to her generous, caring and helpful nature. My mum and she were the best of friends and closest neighbours confiding in each other as only sisters would. Fr. Ruben prompted, and we started reminiscing and reliving the memories of our growing years and her generous nature. Today's services were a fitting grand finale to a noble soul.
