Rita Mascarenhas (88), wife of the late Valerian Mascarenhas, mother of Leena / Gilbert, Celine / Stany, Juliana / Leo, Paul Herald / Flavy, Henry / Lavina and Stany Praveen / Helen, grandmother of Lovelita / Prashanth, Lizvita / Hansen, Lloyd / Lavita, Sheril / Joyson, Sonal, Sherwin, Lionel, Loyal / Prescilla, Laurel / Wilma, Lindon / Anisha, Loraine / Jason, Fiona, Gavin, Diya, Deep, Disha and Neev, great grandmother of 10, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026.

Mortal remains will be kept for public viewing at the residence 'Riva' , Kallimar, Puttur on Tuesday, February 3. Funeral cortege leaves residence at 3.30 pm for Mai De Deus Church cemetery Chapel, Puttur, followed by Mass and burial.
