Charles John Concessao (81), husband of Mary Sequeira, son of the late Marian and the late Mary Concessao, father of Prathima / Ajay and Preethi / Prajwal, grandfather of Adrian, Aaron and Andrea, brother of the late Leena, George and Jonas Antony, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.

Mortal remains will be kept for viewing at the residence John Mary, Barebail, Mangalore on Thursday, January 8 from 2.30 pm onwards. Funeral cortege leaves residence for Holy Redeemer Church, Derebail, Mangalore at 2.45 pm. Viewing in the church at 3.00 pm followed by Mass at 3.30 pm.

No flowers please.

Dear Mary Sequeira, Prathima, Preeti, George, and Antony (Tony). I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Charles(Joe) .May his soul rest in peace. I'm still in shock, remembering the wonderful memories we shared growing up. My family and I offer our heartfelt condolences to you all during this difficult time.Charles was an incredible person a hard worker, a devoted family man, and a pillar of strength. We're so proud of the wonderful family he built, with his loving wife and two daughters who excelled in their careers. The doctor and the nurse in the family what a legacy. I want to express my deepest sympathies to you all, and I wish I could be there to pay my respects in person. Unfortunately, due to my current location in Bangalore, I won't be able to attend the last rites. Please know that I'm thinking of you all and praying for his soul's peace.
